Can I add buttons to my hats?  

Yes! You sure can! There will be an option during checkout to add buttons :)

Yes! The custom name embroidery is $6.00. You can add the custom name you want and color to your hat during checkout.

If doing logo embroidery, we need a copy of logo to nmamerow@orworld.net. The first custom logo hat is a flat fee, and any other custom logo hat after that is free! Depending on size and thread you want, the first and only flat fee is usually $40.-$50. This works great, especially for bulk orders!

For all hats and materials made with 100% cotton, we recommend machine washing with cold water and hang-drying. Heat could potentially shrink the fabric. We have discovered our customers throwing them in the wash with no special care and are happy with outcome.  All of our designed hats are durable and quality made for a stylish, rinse and repeat lifestyle.

Our manufacturing facility is in Illinois. Yes, your hats are born in the US! #americanmade

The OR World family irons them for you but this is a personal preference for further ironing. Some family members like a "crispy look" others like a "natural flow" look.

The family owned craft room started when Sara became a Surgical Technologist in 2014 and she didn’t like the hats she was wearing in surgery. She felt hot, uncomfortable, desired more style and her hair kept falling out! Her mom has been sewing since 1968, so they decided to combine their expertise to customize a pattern for her. Sara was asked by her coworkers if they could have a cute hat too! They mastered different styles that were comfortable, cute and that protected her. They are now serving hospitals all over the nation!

The O.R stands for Operating Room. Despite massive demand in other markets such as the Food industry, Dentistry, Cancer patients and other medical departments, the owners kept the name in remembrance of where they started making hats which was for the operating room in the surgical department.
